A young woman and mother, manager in the business show, at the peak of my promising career I was stopped by a diagnosis of carcinoma. Cancer, and the treatments that followed, were not only my great teachers in life but also marked the beginning of my spiritual awakening. It was an initiation and the start of a journey of self-discovery that continues to nourish and sustain me to this day.

I have walked multiple spiritual and religious paths, driven by curiosity and a desire to understand. I have been welcomed into various communities, traveling from the Kainai Piegan-Pikuuni Reserves of the Blackfoot Confederacy in Canada to the Sacred Sundances of the Lakota Oglala communities in the Black Hills of Wyoming and South Dakota. I have participated in Afro-Brazilian syncretism rites, and during my years in California, I was introduced to the ceremonial practices of the Californian Tribes Legacy.

Since 2010, I have been an active member of the Taino Guatu-ma-cu Tribal Council in Borikén, Puerto Rico, Greater Antilles; since 2018, I have also sat in the Elders’ Circle of the same Council.

Along the way, I have met teachers, mentors, and guides who have generously supported me and allowed me to experience love in brotherhood and sisterhood. Above all, they helped me rediscover my Divine Being within this human experience.

Today, with a heart full of gratitude and enriched by many precious experiences, I strive to give back what I have received.
